O.P. Sabina on La Repubblica

We share with you an article published in the newspaper “La Repubblica” that talks about us. The article titled “O.P. Sabina, Sustainability and Digitalization for the Producer Organization” sheds light on our mission to bring quality garlic directly to the homes of Italians through innovative and environmentally friendly strategies.

For a little over a year now, we have boldly embraced digitalization and communication as tools to share the love and passion for Italian garlic. Our vision has been to provide a wide range of garlic products for everyone: from individuals to businesses. Through the power of the web and social media, we have managed to engage a larger audience of enthusiasts and spread the various forms and preparations of garlic that we offer.

Our headquarters, located in the beautiful Irpinia region in the municipality of Mirabella Eclano, has become the beating heart of this new era. O.P. Sabina has united the efforts of our founding members, growing over time with new members from other regions as well. In 2022, the Campania Region recognized our commitment, confirming us as the leading garlic producer organization in the province of Avellino.

Currently, O.P. Sabina has about 30 producer members distributed among Campania, Abruzzo, and Puglia. We are proud to produce and transform certified organic, IFS Food, and GLOBALG.A.P. garlic, thus ensuring the highest quality for our customers.

But our story goes beyond agricultural production. We are tangible proof that agriculture and services can thrive together. The decision to invest in the digital sector has been a successful bet, with surprising results. Our name is prominent in online searches related to garlic, and our presence has expanded to both corporate and private customers. Thanks to social media, we can tell stories and share curiosities related to our product, engaging a wide audience.

Dedication to sustainability and respect for the environment is one of our core values. In a world that requires concrete actions to protect the ecosystem, we are committed to not wasting any garlic by-products. Parts like the leaf apparatus and outer tunics are reinvested as amendments, thus contributing to soil enrichment and fertility.

This is just the beginning of our journey towards a sustainable, digitized, and opportunity-rich future.
